When Eli and Margo upgraded their previous POS system
to Cash Box, they wanted to make life a little easier for the staff. The
upgrade was phased in over a short period of time, to allow the cashiers
time to adjust to the new system.

Marche Frais: Hull, Quebec Bert Harvey (co-owner) is thrilled to have Cash Box installed
in his location of this popular chain of the freshest fruit and vegetable
stores in the Ottawa-Hull region. Installed since October 1994, we have
done several software upgrades, and recently expanded the store from 5
lanes to 8 lanes, and adding a "lane" in the office for the management
to effect price changes, without pulling a cashier off one of the 7 busy
lanes on the floor.

L'Intermarche (Provigo):
Fort Coulonge, Quebec
Denise co-owns the L'Intermarche store in this small town, and recently the store was renovated, and a competitor's cash register was removed and installed with Cash Box using a TEC ST-5000 platform. Options included a rear customer-display, TEC SL-47 scales, and Metrologics MS-700i scanners. This Provigo based store uses Cash Box's account manager to keep track of the customers who preffer to charge their groceries. |
